    Default Reflections

I LOVE car shows (much to my surprise). This is from the last car show I went to at Tioga Square Shopping Center. I liked the reflections of the Shopping Center (which look better full frame). I used Nik Film Efex Modern - Fujichrome Velvia 100. I try different films to see which one looks best with the particular car.
    Thanks for looking.

Cheryl, a lot of nice lines, colors and compositional elements present in this one...I'd be tempted to tone down the highlights on the door and side panels just a bit...and, to my eye, I wish there was just a little more room on the LHS between the edge of the frame and the headlamp. Beautiful processing and filtering as always.

Thanks, John, I think I'll go back and look at some of the other films - the Velvia really punched it up a bit much. I cropped so much from the left because the battery is a big white thing sitting under the hood that was very distracting

Cheryl, I love it! If it were mine I would take a slice off the bottom to just below the headlight with a buffer allowed. Nice reflections. It has an almost Art Deco look to me.

Denise, thanks! I had tried a crop from the bottom but I liked that white sweeping line so left it in. Maybe I could crop and just remove the remnants of the line - I might like it better without the line. Thanks for the suggestion.

Cheryl: Do you like cars shows in general or the photographic opportunities they offer? Nice work with the reflections. I would crop some off the top to help eliminate that large dark area in ULC and focusing on the colorful reflection on the area above the tire.

Anita, I just like the photographic aspects of the shows - I have no idea what kinds of cars they are although I am going to start carrying a notebook and writing down the names of the cars. I see what you're talking about in the ULC - maybe I could bring back some of the detail - I'd hate to crop from the top because I really like the cream colored building reflection
