Hi and hello,
photographed this River Otter in Seward (Alaska) at a pond in this little town.Even the otter family lived in an area where humans were present more or less all the time it was quite difficult to get close to them.I was in town only a short time ,so the chances have been quite small to get decent shots. There was a boardwalk along some parts of the pond, but the shooting angle was quite steep, not what i wanted. As long as i was staying on boardwalk, they were quite relaxed, but then i moved to the pond edge and they were moving to the opposite side of the pond. After a while they got more or less used to my presence and finally i got some more or less decent shots. the result is shown here.It was pooring rain all day and i was lying in some kind of mud to get this shot .
Hope you like it, C&C welcome as always.
Cheers Andreas
