Hello everyone. Here is a shot of this guy that posed for me for a bit. I was driving next to a ditch and out of no where this guys pops up. I thought it was going to run away but decided to stick around for a bit.
Almost full frame cropped some for the left and right and added canvas on the bottom.

Looks like bright light handled well, excellent sharpness. I might tone down the overall brightness just a hair.

The bird just shines!, I might try to tone down the background but not sure. I know how fast these guys are, you have a very nice pose and in the open with low angle.

Great capture,Robert.Have never seen this bird.I love the pose, HA and the tussle. Light was harsh ,but you did very well. Would tone down a tad to bring out the rich earthy colours more .

Super pose. Love the look-back position. Harsh light handled well, although I find the shadow a little distracting. Not sure what can be done about it. I would also consider toning down the highlights just a tad; maybe the shadow could be lightened at the same time??? In any event, a handsome bird, well captured.

Very cool bird, Robert, I also would be tempted to darken it a tad.

Lovely image Robert. Love the bird, the pose and the techs. Agree with reducing exposure just a bit. Very nice work.

Hi Robert, great look back pose, and good DOF. I like the detail and colours that you have captured, and your repost takes it up a few notches.
