Here's another from Panama last March. I guess Black and Yellow doesn't count for the theme.

    Hi,

Beautifull colors, sharpness, especially on the bird, and I like the contrast between the bird and the grasses on the right, which themselves are very pleasing. But I'm afraid I'm not crazy about the head angle, and unfortunately the piece of grass passing right in front of the eye detracts from the image significantly for me.

I guess it doesn't count, but none the less it is a great Oriole shot, Bill.

Thanks guys. Funny, Richard, it was the piece of plant fiber that he had extracted for nest building that made me favor this frame. Admittedly, it might have been better if it didn't pass through the eye.

Very nice shot. Exposed well, I really like the material in it's beak, just wish it was'nt so close to the eye. Still a great shot.
    Well done.

Vibrant color, and nice position and I myself dont mind the grass where it is, and it certainly adds interest to the shot.
