Peregrine Falcon
I was photographing Puffins on Skomer Is which is just off the Welsh coast and this Lady? (I think its a 1 yr old female) landed on the rocks,
You can not move off the tracks on this Is as it is riddled with rabbit warrens that the puffins nest in and they will collapse so this is 840mm with a significant crop

600mm

cropped and sharpened some noise reduction

She is a beauty. IQ suffered a bit from the crop. Great display of her talons.
The dark patch RUC is a bit distracting, but I don't think additional cropping is a good choice because of the IQ concern. You might be able to dodge that area just a bit to reduce the contrast from the rest of the BG.

Nice bird and it is always a pleasure to get kind of close to them. Would have been nice to have her with a bit better and maybe more distant BG that doesn't have the dark rock. TFS.
