    Just another bald eagle. This was taken at Crex Meadows last weekend.



    Nikon D200 - Nikkor 300mm F/2.8
    ISO 400 ~ F/6.3 ~ 1/2000 sec

    Nice pose and light. I would remove the branch as it doesn't add much in my opinion.

    Lovely flight capture Mike of this majestic eagle. Excellent lighting, detail and composition.
    Agree with Axel on removing branch. Well done!!

    Yes, digital chainsaw is warranted here. Excellent capture of 'just another bald eagle'. One really gets the sense of power in this image.

    I was wondering if the branch anchored where the bird was coming from or if it would look better if it "magically" went buh bye. Any other opinions out there?:)

    Just exactly what I was thinking. At first I thought he was taking off from it, but looks too small for the Eagle.

    A great image, Mike. I was unsure about the branch at first, but now I think the image would be even stronger without it.
