    Marvelous image,Sir. Extremely beautiful composition.
Lovely BG with nice whites and blues and FG with flowers.
Love the resting pose of bird, colors and details. IMO little sharpening of bird will be great.

Only thing letting this down slightly is the lack of blue sky, maybe crop more off the top ? That aside what a great composition with the green grass and wildflowers as well

    Hi Mike,
This is beautiful. I love the mossy mound the puffin is resting on and the flowers add a beautiful touch of color.
A lovely environmental image that showcases the cliff with the sea and sky beyond.
    Exposure is perfect.
I understand the loose composition and like it but can also see this with a bit more off the top.
Would have liked a bit more of a head turn but that is a minor nit,
    Gail

Great pose and the moss really adds to this. I agree regarding losing a bit off the top but the environment is awesome. I am thinking just a slight bit more contrast between the water and the sky may add more interest but certainly works as presented.

Mike - beautiful. I really like the included flowers and habitat. It seems very different than the rocky habitat at Machias. Nicely exposed and low pov. Comp works well for me.

What a moody image. I love the low contrast, the enviroment, the curves of the green vegatation....and of course his little perch and pose. Only thing I might play with is just a touch more room on the left as viewed....I'd like him a bit further from the edge of the frame.

This is a very pleasing puffinscape, Mike. You were blessed with muted light and wildflowers and used them both to your advantage. While I like your choice of comp, you also have the option of taking a little off of the right and top which also lends itself to a pleasing image. Love the Puffin's overall pose, with his feet tucked underneath him and how he's atop the green mound. Well seen and executed.

Lucky you to see a puffin. I love the surrounding elements and the grassy mound he's on. I like the crop but would also like it a little tighter.
