    Hi to all you viewers,
    photographed this geyser in Yellowstone NP in May 2009 ,i forgot the name so maybe one of you guys can clarify what geyser it is.!! Thank you for help.

    Canon EOS 1D Mark IIN
    EF 17-40 at 38 mm
    Tripod
    f 16 / 1/350sec / ISO 200

    Processed in PS ; FF plus canvas extension to top and LHS with followed slight cropping for composition .

    I'm not American, but isn't it "Old Faithful"??
    Nicely captured - like the composition, Andreas.
    Love the rainbow. Light seems a tad harsh? Late morning perhaps?

    Andreas,

    I like the blue sky and how the geyser looks against it. Like the rainbow.

    I feel a bot more room on top would have been good as it appears cramped to me.

    Could this be "Beehive"? That geyser is within site of Old Faithful and does have an afternoon rainbow.
    While I wouldn't mind more room at the top, I'm fine with it as it is. You maximized both the eruption and the rainbow.

    This is Castle geyser which in not to far from Old Faithful, and a real nice image....
