I am not sure about this one. Unusual comp I know but I really liked the water trail.

I like the comp., interesting pose, pretty good HA, only problem is that it looks like the white on the neck is a little hot.

    Gail:

I think the comp is very effective, telling a visual story of his stroll.

Sharp, whites perhaps a bit hot on neck( as Lyle mentioned). I am on work monitor, which displays hot.

    Works for me!

    Cheers

Works for me as presented. Whites look good to me and I like the wing position. Great capture of the feet on the water and I like the water trail...TFS

Gail - I think the pano crop and the comp work very well. Really like the trail of water ripple.

Gail, this is wonderful capture...I really liked the water trail and I am in favor of unusual comp for making the overall image more interesting...

Beautiful walking pose and techs look good to me except for hot whites on neck. Well done and TFS.

I like it, Gail. Colors are terrific, and I like the walk-on-water pose and the water trail. Dramatic. The whites on the neck are in the 230's, with just one little area in the 240's, so not really toasted. Looks fine to me as posted.

Hi Gail, interesting pose, well timed to have both feet just touching the water, and the spoonie is tack sharp. Pinks look good, whites on the neck look fine from here, and as you have shown the trailing water, Im fine with the placement of the spoonie.

Gail, this comp. definitely works. superb BG and also liked the wing position. If mine, I might try reducing the contrast a bit.

Love the pose, the sharp detail and the nice light!

Pano crop and comp work very well for me ... I might even consider putting the bird a tad further to the left in the frame.
I think the dark BG is making the whites look hotter than they are. So even though they would be fine in a different context,
I might tone down the very brightest parts just a tad.
