    Default Pheasant Dispute

    Hi

I was out looking for some brown hares yesterday morning and I came across these two birds having a dispute in the middle of a quiet road yesterday. Unfortunately I think I arrived just as they were just finishing but managed to get a few photos of the battle before they moved off into some undergrowth.

Taken with 1Dmk3 and 500mm lens at ISO 400 F5 +0.33EV at 1/400sec with evaluative metering.

    Cheers

Excellent timing Rich !!!! Love he action Love how it all fits in within the frame Eye contact between the two birds is great Only one slight area with blocked shadows on the jumping bird Very appealing image and totally love the action !!!!

btw will be moving to the other bird gallery since they are on a road !!! Big Congrats !!!

You have captured the essence of the dispute with this one. What a terrific action image.....one in the air and the other with the raised foot....and visible eyes on both. Well done.
