Dan,
Great pose here, I might try to reduce the lighter area in FG.
Love the pose Dan, would agree with reducing highlights slightly.
Hi Dan, nice 'classic' stance, great eye contact with the viewer, slight raise paw helps the subject.
The foxes that I'm try to photograph over here have a similar stance when hunting, however where the game birds are, the area is cordoned off with a high voltage wire so when the fox hits this with his/her nose they get a shock to try an deter them away.

Dan,
Very nice pose, nice to see you are on his level. I don't know how you manage to find these guys.
Dan - I too like the pose and low pov. Agree about toning down the highlights. Is this a large crop or have you done a lot of recovery here? It doesn't seem to me to have the same IQ as your other shots.

Rachel
I like the skulking pose here Dan (sorry for being late on this one).
What do you think of this repost?
Went for a multiplied luminosity mask to tone down highlights (15% opacity).
Ran Nik Tonal Contrast on the coyote only through a mask.
Dodged shadows on the snout and eyes.
Selectively sharpened eyes and snout.

Without a very good capture MorkMan could not work is magic. The RP Rocks!

Thanks Morkel, it looks great.
Rachel, it was just not great light, so I did what I could because I liked the pose.
I toned down the coyotes back a lot.
Morkel's PP skill is just better than mine and he improves it.
It was stalking something, namely me.
I saw the Coyote and was not going to bother taking a photo because of midday light,
until it turned and came right toward me so I crouched and shot away until it got too close!
I finally stood up and
it spooked and ran.
