    Default Ali Farm !!!

    Attached Images Attached Images

Image made at the Alligator Farm a few years ago Site of the upcoming BPN get together May 3rd

One amazing place for photographing Birds nesting close enough you could touch them !!! The Swamp as they call this part is not very large it consists of a T shape boardwalk Great for displaying birds, head shots and flight.

This image shows the old set up for flash cards. At this time cards were very expensive and using devices for transferring cards was usual. This shows a device hooked to the flash battery for power. Umbrella rig for shooting in the rain.

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

Thats a very interesting set up, can you explain the equipment for attaching the flash & umbrella to your rig?
    Best regards Ray

I believe Alfred just has the umbrella tied to the Wimberley with a ball bungee cord. Correct me if I'm wrong, Alfred! Artie does sell something more "official" to clamp an umbrella to a tripod, FWIW.

I remember Dad bought one of the 1gb Microdrives when they first came out....it was certainly expensive, and I'm not sure if it was better at recording images slowly or draining batteries quickly. . . . . . .
