    I took this shotat Bombay Hook De. In processing i adjusted contrast , cloned a few distractions from the bg and cropped about 20%
    Nikon D3s
    1/800 sec at f 6.7
    500 mm with 1.7 TC
    beanbag tripod
    ISO 2200

    I like both the image and the composition that your crop provides. I like the background as well, although some may find it distracting, I find it interesting without being a distraction at all. Well done.

    Hi Bob, I like the image and find that the background does take something from the eye. As a more OOTB image it is very strong, but I feel that a less detailed bg would make it stronger as a bird portrait. There is a bit of detail lost in the peak whites but not much. I like the eye looking intently at dinner.
