    Default Too Big!

This juvenile wanted to brood, but mom was teaching him that he's too big for that now. He tried pitifully all evening and finally gave up.

Note that the adult's left foot is tangled. She is showing no issues from it and would be impossible to catch for removal.

Great image Grace! I like the low angle, setting, exposure, sharpness, interaction and composition.

    Grace,
Love the interaction and the story. Must have been fun to watch it. It is good to see an adult and a juvenile in the same photo.
Love the low angle, engaging poses. Little bit of greenary adds to the image. Well done.

Great interaction Grace, perfect techs I think and low angle is works so well....shame about the fishing line, a very annoying problem affecting many creatures sadly

My favorite parts of this image are:
    1. The chance to see a juvie and adult side by side and their distinguishing features.
    2. The light
3.The body positions of the 2 birds.
    4. The behavior
    5. The composition
    6. IQ is your usual excellent style,
    Gail

Excellent image showing neat behaviour and a cool side-by-side comparision between juvenile and adult. Super nice low angle and great IQ. I only wish the light had better lit the adult's eye and perhaps the removal of the twig touching the young one's raised foot. Very well done!
