Love how the subject pops off the monitor. Great detail and flat light handled very well. Might take some off the bottom. Don't think you need it and it doesn't add anything to the fine image. Might even think about a vertical crop.

Composition looks fine to me. Sweet pose and nice eye contact. IQ is not great though - quite a lot of noise on the bird.

Ofer, could you please explain how and where you see the noise in this kestrel? I tend to find it much easier in the BG than I do in birds. Thank you.

What a lovely bird. I like the settings, and the colors. I wouldn't mind seeing the bird placed a little more in the upper right of the frame. Seems just a tad centered.

What a lovely bird. I like the settings, the colors and the composition very much.
Hi Marina, I see the noise everywhere on the bird and there is very little fine detail.

Nice pose and eye contact. I agree with Ofer that there is a lot of visible noise on the body. Did you lighten the image substantially in pp? Although it also could be the high ISO with the 7D.

great image, I like the way he is looking at us. I have to agree with Ofer regarding IQ. To my eyes, the feathers details have been smeared quite a bit by the application of NR.
