White Pelican, from Alafia Bank on the Hooptie Deux in January. Full-frame except for slight rotation; cloned out several oof pelican heads beneath. I thought about cropping out the sky to make this a pano, but left if FF. What do you think?

Hi Bill, Beautiful in flight capture of this elegant looking Pelican...Sharpness, exposure and flight angle looks good to me...love those dangling feet...
I am fine with the sky but would crop slightly from top, also the bank line cutting Pelican's head is slightly distracting but it is a small nit...TFS

Bill - it looks very nonchalant suspended in mid-air. Nice pose and sharpness. I think you are right that this would also work as a pano with the sky cropped out. It's nice to have alternatives.

Wonderful shot. Love the dangling feet, great wing position, and great details.
    Well done.

I like this alot, and like others I love the dangling feet. Exposure and details are spot-on. I don't mind some sky showing, but I'd crop out about half of it.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. Here's a version with half the sky gone, per Daniel's suggestion. ( I did the crop on the jpeg, so IQ may have suffered in the recompression?)
