    Default Battle Field ?

Just from a nearby beach here, the site of a fishing boat slipway, thew wheel is simply an old train wheel used once for a boat mooring. Simple sepia conversion with some extra dodge and burn for mood.

Hi Phil, you have a nice old-time photo look going and the subject placement works really well. I like the range of tones in the image. Nice work!

Nice how you have taken a piece of castoff train and with color and title turned it into something "historic"

Nicely done...good tone and color..I might tone down the highlights in the clouds a bit, and maybe open up the shadows a smidge in the wheel..love the composition.

I also love the tones and feel you've achieved for this image. I agree with johns suggestion to open the shadows just a smidge in the wheel. Just personal preference.

Phil, I'm not usually fond of a center horizon line but you made it work really nicely here. The color toning and the composition are great! I might clean up the bottom edge a little and eliminate the tiny piece of foreground rock. Good suggestion by John regarding toning down the highlights just a touch.
