What do you do when it's the 4th of July and the authorities have banned fireworks because of drought/fire danger? You get glow sticks and let the kids be their own "fireworks" . Taken in the back yard with no lights, camera on tripod, set on bulb (6 sec).

Good thinking Hazel, and I like the results you got. Lots of color and light but no danger!

    Hazel,

Greetings. Ha! Great idea & a nice looking shot. Now you have me wondering how many kids... 4? TFS.

    Cheers,

Great idea, Hazel. The colors are awesome and I especially love the "ghostly" blue ones

Great idea Hazel and well executed. I love the final result and sounds like you enjoyed yourself while photographing it.
