    Feb, 2012. Almost full frame image, slightly cropped on right and bottom for composition.
    I have kept the Background as it is except few bright water spots on left and near left leg are removed.​

    Canon EOS: 550D, 100-400.
    Av mode, F: 5.6, 1/800, ISO: 400, Spot metering, White balance: Auto. HH.

    The blacks in this are exceptionally well done Satish with a beautiful glossy sheen showing through, I find blacks so very hard to expose well, but you have done perfectly on this image. I also like the perky posture this bird had adopted fro the camera, impressive sharpness at wide open aperture, top shelf photo !

    Great blacks and whites on this bird, sharp. The whole image seems a little dark to me.

    I love the tail position. Good exposure on the whites and blacks. The glossy sheen shows very well.
    Not crazy about the BG and wonder if you could have gotten about a foot lower to get rid of some the BG.

    Nice details, especially in the blacks. I like the pose with the tail up. Do wish for a little more room above and below. Also there's a halo around most of the bird.

    Hi Satish, one of your best IMO. You have absolutely nailed the exposure, especially on the blacks. Good DOF, sharp, and the cocked tail puts this over the top.
