A Mallee Ringneck Parrot feeding on the flowers of the Eromophila bush, not something I have seen before, seems that at this particular time the flowers were oozing with nectar judging by the sticky matting of the birds feathers...I bet it took a while to get all that out of his plumage.

Phil - colors are great and so is the bg. Pose and HA look good. Thanks for explaining about the matted feathers from the nectar. I too am not sure about the crop. Might consider coming in more from the rhs and taking the head off center.

Hi Phil, good eye contact, and this image oodles colour. I like both the detail and colours on the parrot, together with the colours of the flowers. Enough smooth BG for the parrot to pop against.
