Its not often I get to do mammal photography so I jump at the chance to go to Colorado with Sid last week to shoot Mountain Goats and Elk and had a wonderful time learning from one of the best. Here one of the kids walks along an edge on Mt. Evans that overlooks a lake.

Very cute. Really shows the height perspective well.

Hi Don - You should shoot mammals more often. Very cute and with a very different bg than most shots we've had posted from Mt. Evans. It works well. Nice job on the exp. too.

Hi Don, very nice indeed and as Rachel mention, you should pop over to this side more often.

Nicely exposed, like the incline to add some interest to the location/height and it has the cute actor too. perhaps a little NR to the BKG?

Nice to see you posting here Don!
I like the diagonal here and the lamb is nicely exposed. I do wish there was some catchlight in the eye though. Overall detail and dynamic range looks good.
I would consider a crop from LHS to remove the other one's butt and also from the top to balance it out again.

    Hi Don,
I like the detail and the composition of your image and ditto Ed's comment on the height perspective.
    TFS and best wishes,

Agree with Morkel's crop suggestion. This image gives the viewer a bird's eye view of the treacherous heights and territories this species travels.

An image where a downward angle works and helps give context to the animal's habitat. Steep cliffs on that side of the mountain.

    Don,

Fabulous shot, you are clearly not a vertigo sufferer.
