I posted the cutaway lotus last year. This is a new version with 2 Kim Klassen textures and altered muted colors.

Judy, Very nicely done. I like the composition and the texturing. I might add a slight curve adjustment to the center area if it were mine. Nice work as always!

Lovely, Judy. I like the textures you chose. I think Denise's suggestion would help to bring out that beautiful center area.

Loving the textures in this image. Would like to see the petals toned down a bit. Just a tad bright , IMHO.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions everyone! Here's a re-worked image. I selected the flower and did a curves adjustment and added a little saturation and then a low dose of tonal contrast and sharpening.

Beautiful work, Judy. I think I'd prefer the lotus repost with the lighter background in the OP but it's beautiful either way.

Comparing this Lotus image with John's Lotus images shows how many different ways there are to photograph and present a beautiful flower. Not only do we see a cut out of the flower, showing the insides, but the whole flower looks like a paper cut-out. I prefer the repost, with the center standing out more and matching the colors of the background.
