    Nice looking bird, a bit smaller in the frame and less centered would look a bit better for me.

    Nice shot, I think the right shoulder is a little hot and there appears to be a slight blue cast on the chest/belly area.

    I like the HA and eye contact, Phil. Agree about the shoulder being a bit hot and the blue cast in the shadows on the chest.

    I agree the subject is a bit big in the frame and the shoulder is blown, but I love the details and inquisitive pose. Great perch and BG.

    Very nice subtle head turn and the resulting eye contact. wouldn't mind tad more room below. Excellent details.

    Thx for sharing. had not seen a shot of this bird before.
