    Sweet. Love the comp, the flowers, pose. Exposure/fill flash looks great. No nits from me.

    Yeah now that's a proper oyster catcher just like the ones we have great shot, composition colours detail all excellent.

    Interesting looking oystercatcher. It looks a lot like ours except for the color of the eye. Great use of flash and flowers for your comp.

    Pretty neat to see one in such habitat! Techs and processing look excellent, I only wish the yellow had not been so close to the edge. All-in-all a pretty appealing OC image :-)

    Hi Mike!
    Welcome back and I hope you had a great trip.
    Exposure on blacks and whites and use of fill flash are excellent. You should teach classes on these subjects. I bet you would be good!!
    I really like the environment this guy is shown in. There is a bit of a diagonal line in the picture starting with the beak through to the grasses and back up again to the rhs of frame which I like. I find the bright vertical stalk on RHS a bit distracting. I like the pop of yellow from the dandelion,
