I enjoy these sunny native flowers in my garden. I photographed this one outdoors, natural light, handheld 50mm lens at f1.8.
Basic adjustments, including textures by Kim Klassen and clive sax , Viveza, CEP "Cross Balance", Omni lighting, and for the first time, "recompose" in Elements 10.
    Critique and comments appreciated.

Anita, I love the texturing and color on this one; if it were mine I'd be blur the green leaf on the RHS, at the edge of the frame...I find my eye being constantly drawn there, and I find it competing with the bloom for my attention. Liking your work with textures!

I see your point about the leaf. I liked it and the way it pointed to the flower. I await the opinion of others. Many thanks!!!

Anita, I like it either way so I won't be the tie-breaker Beautifully composed and the textures are perfect for the image.

Lovely composition Anita, and I really like the textures. I agree with John about a little blurring of the sharp parts of the leaf, but it's certainly fine just as it is.

Anita, this is another of your wonderful composition with textures. I really like your approach to capturing the beauty of the flowers. Beautiful colors and processing. Like Cheryl, i too would like it either way with the leaf on the right.

Hi Anita, The only thing that bugs me about the leaf is the way it is cut by the edge of the frame. Beautiful colors and textures.
