I love his look and I think your higher elevation accentuates his "what are you looking at" attitude. The right is a bit hot as is the white on the ears. On the left would have preferred to see the whole paw.

    Nice portrait!

I'd sure like to know if this was a zoo picture. It looks like it but I'm not sure since some parks will create water holes for wild animals.

I hope all members will state with their images if the shots they take are captive, "enclosed in a larger area", or otherwise not in the wild. Nothing wrong with that, it is just nice to know the context of the shot.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Robert is on target with the hot areas on the right. The photo is gorgeous and I agree that the high-angle perspective adds to the effect of those riveting eyes.
It should be fairly easy to tone down that area on the right.

lovely details of the fur. top region of nose looks a bit rubbed off (kind of bit smooth).

    Thanks Kaushik
I've noticed that smooth nose bit myself on other tiger pix.
Not sure if this is individual tiger Sendiri or Dumai or a photography problem.
Will take binoculars next time I go and check out there noses !!

Nice eye contact. I also like the level of colors (not overdone). Hot spots noted.

Very nice composition and eye contact. However, I do agree with Robert.

The hot areas on the right, exp on the tiger are the biggest problem that I see. Nice stare, but wish the background was more natural.
