    A black crowned night heron gliding by me on his way to feed on the sand flat caught my eye.

    What an apt title, Grace. Nice angle and the red eye really stands out. Your bird is nice and sharp and well exposed.

    Good title for sure...like a flying red eye as the body belts into the sky a bit. Nicely exposed for sure.

    Great eye on this and sharp, no blown highlights at all, but I wonder if toning back the brighter bits on the body may bring out even more detail...blowed if i know how you people get such great in fligh6t shots at such long focal lengths
