Photographed this male House Finch late this evening as the sun was setting. In an area on my farm where I know these guys to frequent and perch I setup near the woodline and called him in with audio from my blind. Comments and critique welcomed as always.

Alan- Thanks very much for the kind comments and taking the time to look!

Lorant-They hand around ours quite a bit as well. Always enjoy seeing them. Thanks for the compliments!

Backyard visitor up here too! Love the colours, and note the perfect HA. The grouping of leaves in upper left corner is very nicely anchored there, nice touch. I'd give it a bit more room at right (if you have it), and lose the leaf peeking in the frame in LRC. Perhaps a bit more NR to the BG.

Thanks very much for the critique Daniel! It's good to hear from others specific points on what does and doesn't work for them on my images as I try to learn from both. I do indeed have some spare room to the right and will have a look at that. Thanks again!

You handle that Sigma very well Michael, this is very nice, light, detail and perfect pose all make this very presentable

    Dan-Thanks for commenting!

Phil-Thanks! Took a little getting use to just like anything but once I figured it out, I have been very happy with the results I have being able to achieve. I am in the process of saving now for hopefully finding a reasonably priced Nikon 500 f/4 at some point though! I appreciate you stopping in!
