Dave, you have captured and created a beautiful, soft pastel vision of this Cara Cara. Nice comp and colors. I've never tried the white vignette on the Nik CE, it works quite nicely on this piece. Lovely image. BTW, what is PB?

Excellent filter work on the cara cara Dave. The colors are very nice and I think the vignette works well.

Hi, John, PB is Pixel Bender, a free Adobe plug-in for CS5. One of the filter options is Oil Paint with a lot of sliders that vary the look. I don't have CS6 but they have an Oil Paint filter which looks to me like it is similar.

Dave, a really nice base image, I love the pose and the vignette works well with it.

Dave, I think this is one of your best. The subject, vignette, pastel colors, PB, and background with flowers all come together to form a great image!

Dave, I really like this...did you try playing with the opacity within the NIK vignette when applied? Just a thought..a fade to white blend of pastels might also be an interesting touch...thinking out loud!...strong image, well composed, with a striking subject.

What a striking pose for this striking bird. Wonderful! I like the processing and the vignette, which causes me to focus right on the bird.
