    Default Blue-tailed Bee eater

Wing position isn't gr8 but the dragon fly and head turn tempted me to keep this frame. Hope this works.

Excellent head turn, great detail and colours. I like the complimenting background and the food item in the beak. No nits.

I would not trash it either. The dragon fly makes it work.

    Saptagirish :

Agree about the wing position being less than ideal, the tail is great as is prey and head angle, BG.

    Well exposed and sharp.

I would have kept it as well.

    Cheers

It absolutely works despite the wing position. Beautiful colors, HA and details. The tail looks great and the meal just takes it up a notch.

Saptagirish, beautiful image! Really like the head angle and the Dragon fly. Sharpness and exposure look good. The BG goes well with the bird colors also. Although not ideal, the wing angle doesn't really detract from the image too much for me. I would have loved to have gotten this shot! You certainly have some beautiful birds over there.

Fantastic stop-action shot. I love the pose with the over-the-shoulder head turn, but do agree with others on the less- than ideal position of the right wing. Well done.

Beautiful shot pin sharp and excellent focus, the wing could have been better as mentioned but that really is a fine image.
