Common around my area, and much of Australia. A very active bird that rarely sits still for more than a nano second, always twitching and jumping from branch to branch, but approachable quite often...thank God for burst mode on cameras

Lovely bird , and I do like the perch , Phil . Would wish for some more space in the direction it is looking ....looks a bit too centered . While I see the eye perfectly sharp , I find the head slightly soft !!!

Lovely position and HA Phil. I suppose you used shall DOF to blur the background. Importantly the eye and near areas are sharp. Good capture. You are right about the burst mode.

Very cute bird, and nice perch (setup?). Sharp where it needs to be. There is much more room in front of the bill than behind the tail - comp looks good to me. I'd tone down the brighter green area touching the head and throat, and I would have preferred a slightly better head angle (turned more towards us). All in all a sweet image.
