I havent seen this species posted much?? I was fortunate enough to be in their presence earlier in June and managed to get this shot which I am very pleased with. What a cool experience to be out in the forest and hear these birds wonderful call all around :)

Hi Glenn. Indeed there are not many photos going around of this species and this one is a very nice one. I especially like the eye. Can you give us some details about your flash set up?
It is always a pleasure to see your photos. It would even be nicer to see them in a larger form; like 1024 pixels on the longer side.

Wonderful capture Glenn..really nice pose, HA, BG..light looks good on bird but the whites on perch can be slightly toned down further.

We have a similar bird here called Spotted Nightjar that is my bogie bird, I have heard them calling in the bush sometimes, and have searched for miles and not yet seen one....basically I'm saying....I'm green with envy !

Maybe tone back the brights on the rock, but great score

Great capture, Glenn. It is so hard to see one never mind taking a picture.
I can see that you use the same size as you do on NSN.
I have two versions in these days; an 800 and a 1024.
The larger size looks much nicer I think.
