    went down Bowland yesterday to photograph winchats,got a couple,but were not good enough,but managed to get a few stonechat images.cannon 500mm IS L USM,tripod,700mm fl,F5.6,ISO400,1/400S,CROPED SHARPENED,WEATHER CHANGABLE,comments good or bad.thanks.

    Lovely perch and BG. Your bird is well exposed but looks as though you had fairly muted light to help. The details in the feathers are awesome and you have a good angle. Over all a very pleasing capture.

    Hi Chris, I like how the chat is perched high, and you have exposed him nicely. Excellent detail on the plumage too. Well captured.

    Nice detail in the blacks and good sharpness. Pretty green BG. The whites are a little bright, and I would have preferred more of a profile head angle.

    Agree with all the positives. Image design is fine by me and the WHITEs look fine from here. Love, love, love the perch and BKGR. Agree with Doug on a bit mroe head turn away from us. All in all, quite excellent.
