    Default Veery????

We photographed about 25 different species of birds on my Galveston trip I have trouble remembering all of them. Especially the not so common. I believe this is a Veery , but it is so similar to a Hermit and a Swainson's Thrush I'm not 100% sure. So if I'm wrong please forgive and correct me.

    This is lovely, Joe.
    Beautiful light and nice pose.
    Perch is very nice.
I feel the sharpening on the shoulders is on the edge of oversharpening,

A lovely inquisitive pose, clean bg and good looking perch make a lovely photo. I was wondering about the wing also.
    very well done.

A Veery it is Joe. I remember this guy well. Looks a tad dark on my monitor.

Nice alert pose and lovely bg. Looks nice and bright on my screen. I might be tempted to tone down the bright spots on the broken-off piece of perch, to draw less attention to it.

Does look like a Veery, Joe. Excellent light, bg, pose and details. Wish the perch wasn't broken off, but that's a minor crit.

Veery it is. The other thrushes have more and darker streaks on the chest and lower. Very nice image. I like the exposure as is, makes me think of early or late light.
