    Default Rosita's Bunting

Before June's theme turns to July's new challenge, here is a photo from a few days ago from the encounter with this beautiful endemic Mexican bird from the Isthmus. Thanks for commenting.

That's one gorgeous bird. Pose is great and the bird really stands out against the green BG. The head is a bit soft - maybe motion blur from his eager vocalization?

Certainly a georgeous bird, nice pose
agree soft will probably sharpen up OK, might be a bit strong on black elements?

Sweet singing pose. The cool light from the flash could be balanced with a warming filter on the image, which would improve it IMO.

This is a beautiful bird in a nice singing pose. I also feel the image is a bit soft, could you a bit of warming. I wish for a bit more DOF in this one.

    Thanks for posting this.

Wow apricot and blue with a splash of red. Very pretty bird. And a large eye. The angle shows all of this off very well. Well done.

Fantastic shot. Just love the singing/calling pose, very nice background, and great perch.
    Well done.

Lovely bird, colors and BG. Love that calling pose. Head looks a tad soft, and I would guess it's from motion blur due to his calling while you were at 1/400sec.
