Like the horizontal (left-right) blur aspect but not sure about the vertical (up-down) blur part. Wonder how the eye is still very sharp, but I like it.

Hi Andreas, certainly a different approach and I do like the motion blur, as it does add to the 'trotting' feel, but agree with Tom about the vertical action. These is also a lovely warm about the image and that eye sings out, did you lighten it? Perhaps some more room on the LHS and at the foot, WDYT?

Thanks for your comments Steve and Tom.
If you look at SS it was almost impossible to avoid action in both directions ,horizontal and vertical at the same time.
Steve i did not lighten the eye,it is just reflection of the sun.I just sharpened it selectively .Not possible with more room it is FF.

Great, thanks, just pops and you just can't help, but keep looking at the eye.

Andreas - the more I look at this one, the more I like it. The eye is wild.

Andreas, I do like this and these types of images. I like the horizontal blur but, for my taste a tad too much vertical blur as mentioned above. I like how the sharpening of the eye draws you to the face although maybe just a tad to sharp compared to the rest of the image overall? Just thinking out loud here. I like the warm color as well with just a hint of green both top and bottom to break it up a little. Nice job!

I'm surprised at how sharp this is for 1/6 on 500mm
I agree about the vertical blur not being ideal...like the warm tones.
