My passion for photography started back in high school, with B&W film class. My first camera then was a Nikon FM10, which I still have to this day. After high school I got a job at the Meijer super-centers 1hr photo lab. I can remember getting in the stores very first digital point / shoot camera, and saying that they wouldn't amount to anything. Boy was I wrong! The last film camera I had was a Nikon F5, which is currently sitting next to my Nikon FM10 on a shelf as a make shift museum.
Today I find myself more, and more taking photos of birds. I believe what got me hooked on bird photography was seeing a Cooper's Hawk with a pigeon in the court yard of my job a few years ago. I also find myself taking alot of my photos from my fishing kayak. Currently I am using a Canon 7D camera body, along with a 300mm F2.8, 400mm F5.6 L, and a 600mm F4 L (non IS).
