Default Piping Plover Chick Wing Flap

On a recent shoot I was able to capture some Piping Plover images...The beach was overly crowded with people and these young fledglings were restricted to their protected nest site which is a very small area.

After a long rest this young one stretched it's wing and luckily I was ready for some action.

The IQ isn't very good as I was shooting with just 400mm and I did not want to get any closer to disturb these tiny little birds but I still loved this one..

    C&C Welcome.

    Hi Raut,
You got a terrific pose and in great light and great angle.
The BG is very nice with the graduated change of colors. I also like the seashells on the ground.
    Good composition.
IQ has suffered a little bit as you mentioned but still a sweet shot,
    Gail

What a totally sweet image you've created. While the IQ is just a bit off, you are to be commended for giving the little ones their space. I would love to have this sweet flapping pose in my collection. Would evict the little stick by his rear.

Too bad about the IQ because there are so many positives about the photo. Lovely pose, bg, and colors to name a few. Good for you to give them the space.
