    It does have a bit of a mood to it. Nice and sharp and I really like the dof. If you are into it removing some of the extra foliage would be an option.

    nice image Stuart,love the dark BG,like the pose and detail,would remove the bird lime of the leaves bottom left.well done.

    Grim photo, and moody as others point out. This is a good thing! I like the comp and techs. I too would remove the dropping from the leaves in LLC, and there seems to be a cyan cast to the whites (easily fixable in PS by desaturating the cyan channel in Hue/saturation).

    Sharp and nicely exposed. Love the deep green bg. I love the feet, and his strong grip around the perch. Moody indeed - he does seem rather pensive.
