    Richard, You captured nice wing position but somehow I find BG very distracting, would tone down highlights in BG and crop it tighter to reduce the distraction.

    Re post has definitely improved the overall feel but I see a line (formed by far bank) between tow wings slightly distracting here...

    very bizarre, no idea what caused that, was in the tiff and didnt see it lol removed it now

    Like the last repost the best. Nice and sharp with good exposure. I wish the beak wasn't merging with the far wing. I actually kind of like the habitat - it grew on me.
    Comp-wise, I'd crop some below and add some above to the repost.

    Hmm so you'd like the bird lower - interesting, thanks I will check out when I eventually relook at the file
    everyone has a different take on things as one would expect.
    Personally I liked the BG its where they live but it was a bit bright
