    Default Savanah in the rain

These little guys were pretty active today, even though we got a whole lot of rain. I stalked this little one for a while until he finally settled on a natural perch (in my father in law's farmer's field). This one was shot in completely overcast light, with no sun peeking through at all

These are one of my favorite little birds. So freaking tiny and cute!

    Charles:

Lovely colors, good pose, interesting perch, well exposed, sharp.

THe high ISO resulted in quite a bit of noise in the background, so I would try to clean that up. It isn't bothersome in bird.

From a comp standpoint, I would probably take a bit off the top.

    Cheers

You created a pleasing natural image in challenging conditions. I'm not sure how much you have cropped this already, but I would rework the composition as it feels like there is too much bottom and right.

    Good evening folks.

Thank you very much for performing a critique of my image. I have reworked the background and cropped it a little as the original was almost full frame.

    Better?

The savannahs are among my favorites too! I love the perch it chose for you, and cropwise I'd go the opposite way of your repost (I feel the OP has too much top and left) Very subjective of course...
