One of several versions I'm playing with on this image...not sure which I prefer yet. 180mm lens, f/8@1/160. RAW image processed in LR; some Viveza work done here and there...slight vignette applied with NIK ColorEfex, as well as a touch of Tonal Contrast...then Fractalius and Topaz Simplify...still trying to coax a bit from this image.

John, I love the effect on the lotus, I wonder if a CCW rotation would add some interest? Just a thought but I do like the way you have presented this with the careful framing. The details are lovely.

Thank you for the comments and views....Denise, is this something like what you had in mind (re rotation?)

Hi John, I do like it. I think it minimizes the top UR petal just enough.

I very much like the processing work you have done on this image--beautiful lines, light and colors. The repost is more pleasing to my eye. Overall, the crop does not work for me, even though I like tight crops. I think perhaps the crop needs to be tighter or include more of the flower. Also, I think angling the flower would add a softening effect. Just my thoughts.
