Took this at the zoo the other day. Liked the pose & expression, but OP image quality was not the best. Tried some soft contrast and fine detail adjustments using Nik Color EFEX / Tonal Contrast & Topaz Detail. Converted to B&W, added a warming tone to it, and a little bit of dodging and burning to even out tones.

Brendan, I wouldn't change a thing. The toning is beautiful and those wistful eyes are riveting. Beautiful work:S3:

Brendan, you did some really nice processing on this image...I echo Cheryl's comments..wouldn't change a thing. The conversion to B&W and the tinting add such a peaceful quality to the image...and the eyes are striking, as is the texture of the fur. Well done!

Beautiful Brendan, not sure if I would change anything either. I might try to add a teeny bit more life to the eyes- nit even sure if it is possible or needed.

Thanks, Denise. I think you might be right regarding eyes. Always good to try it out and compare. Raised levels a bit on eyes and some sharpening.

Brendan, the repost is the one. The slightly brighter eyes and face make it work perfectly. Fabulous work as usual!
