Vivaldo,
What a sighting this must have been, is this from Etosha?
I might consider cropping from both top and bottom, and boosting contrast a tad.
the splash on the right hand side looks a bit blue, but no doubt this is natural.
Thanks Ken, this was taken at Etosha earlier this year. Add more contrast and croped put forground as suggested.
excellent image and RP takes this over the top

Hi Vivaldo,
i am not becoming friend with this image.I like the colors, the comp ,the contrast, the action shown here. But i am missing at least one head of the rhinos ,showing up in the water splashes. To me the content looks like two big clumps of meat in a waterhole.I really don`t know how to say what i feel about this one,i think i cannot fit my feelings in a proper english critique.Sorry for that.
So i hope you do not take it personally. Cheers Andreas
Vivaldo - good timing and I like the low perspective. I do understand what Andreas is saying, a raised head or a visible horn would have taken this image over the top, but I do like it as is. You can feel the power of these bulks and I like the tails positions. Well captured.

Rachel
Thanks for comments :S3:
Andreas I posted this image knowing that it was not a prize winner but rather to show a rare sighting of two rhino fighting at the waterhole. I would have also prefered more content. I got a few frame with there heads slightly showing, if there one that I think is worth posting I will do so. Thanks for honest comment.
Hi Vivaldo, glad you posted this one.
Andreas has a point, as we all know what's happening, but I do think some visible head, part of would have been good. Still not sure about the blue of the water, especially in the splashes on the RHS. :w3

Hi Vivaldo,
if we all would think, the images we show here could be prize winners, where will that lead to????!!
I personally do not think i will win any prizes with the images i show here, but that is personal:wave:.And i do not expect to see a lot of prizewinners .I would have been more than happy to witness your sighting with the two rhino bulls.
Cheers Andreas
Hi Vivaldo,
When i first saw the image I laughed and wondered what had happened to the rhino's heads, but as you mention this is not a prize winner, but from an interest viewpoint it is a lovely documented image. Namibian wildlife know how to look after there black rhino's and they seem to be doing well as a friends father has seven on there cattle farm nearby to Etosha. Thanks for sharing,
Mark.
Unbelievable sighting, lovely setting in the water with a low angle. I wish to see a bit of head, but I'm sure you're reserving the best for last, Vivaldo :e3
I like the recrop and the interaction capturedis great. Looks like a amazing sighting was captured really well!
