Anita, the lighting is what makes this image for me. I like the curving lines and the detail you left in the bud. The textures work very well also. I might desaturate the red tip on the bottom bract just a bit (the dewdrops are nice, too:S3:)

Very well crafted, Anita. The composition and colors are appealing, and the background works nicely with the subject. You deserve credit for the original capture, as well. I agree about subduing the red tip(s) a bit.

Beautiful image, Anita..strong composition, with a combination of leading lines and subtle curves...soft, warm, diffuse lighting...well chosen texture for processing...and I LOVE that one single drop of dew on the lower right leaf. Cheryl makes a good point about the bit of red on the one leaf tip...and I might have left a bit of room at the top, I'm not sure...but that's subjective. Nicely done.
I'm loving this one, Anita! Even with the super close framing I still think it's a total winner. I also would desat that little bit of red just a touch more. The textures are wonderful!
