In addition to basic adjustments, I evened out background which was splotchy, added textures by Shadowhouse Creations and one of mine, Topaz Adjust>Toned Color Sepia, Color Efex Pro >Contrast Color and Pro Contrast..
C & C always appreciated!

You've chosen a nice combination of colors -- largely through your selection of textures, I imagine. It looks like a celebration of the return of the ferns, and that's certainly fitting. I like that the colors near the frame are browner on the bottom than the top. It's surprising that the two look so much alike. Almost like one's a shadow of the other if it were darker. I think I wish there were either more or less overlap of the ferns, but I like the diagonal they create together.

Anita, I like the combination of textures that you used. I think I'd prefer the bottom edge color to mirror the reddish upper edge. I love ferns when they are uncurling.:S3:

This is surreal, Anita. Very special vision. I like it a lot.

I really like the texture and color you selected for the background, they complement the unfurling fronds well. And the fronds are elegant but the fuzzyness makes them look young. Good job.

Anita, lovely processing on this one...the warm, gold colors..the contrasting color vignettes on the upper and lower boarder...those great textures on the fronds as they unfurl...very nicely done. I do wish there was a bit more canvas on the LHS...a minor point...and there's one leave at the bottom, on the background fern, that is small and pointing down that is brighter and sharper that draws my eye to it...I might tone it down a bit. Strong image!

Very nicely done Anita. I love to catch them just as they are unfurling. Nice work!
