The Phoenix (Emu) rising from the ashes...Fractalius lends that sense of flame and color to this shot...I like that you masked the eye back in...I wish there was just a hint of color/detail in the beak as well...nicely done!

Maureen,. The effect is perfect! I love the flow of the feathers that the glow has added. Nice background too. A tiny bit more detail to the beak if you have it as John noted.

Thanks all. Not sure how much detail I could or want to recover in the beak. Emu beaks are black. And ugly.
