Eared Grebe

I decided to try fract on an Eared Grebe in breeding colors... this was taken few weeks back at Bolsa Chica, CA. For processing, I used multiple fractalius Glow 100 layers with different settings and then used masks to paint over creating this final effect. Hope you like it...

Eared Grebe Aflame! Some interesting lines and colors added through processing..I almost wish there was just a hint more detail showing through, but that's a matter of personal taste. I find myself looking for a bit more space on the RHS...but I like the fluidity of the image. Nice work!

Indranil, Lovely looking effect. I do wish that the grebe's eye was a little more clear. Nice job with the soft water. I might evict the halo around the head in the reflection.

Hi Indranil, great fracting, agree on the eye. The feathers on these birds make for wonderful fract subjects.
