You have a great eye for composition, Anita, I could probably take this image and try to crop it but I'd never get it to look like this....love the details and colors. Very minor thing I'd do, is remove the leaves in the bottom left side (but thats just the my way of thinking)...Well done.
Awesome image, Anita! I like the green the LLC but would maybe clone out some of the white spots on all the leaves...they are a tiny bit distracting. I love the comp and the processing on this one!
Absolutely wonderful composition. The colors are great, and I like the texture with this. Before reading any of the comments, I decided I like the leaves in the lower left. And if the leaves left, the water drops on them would have to go, too. That'd be a great loss.
Hi Anita, very pretty image and nice capture of the "soul" of this flower. Along with blue jays and cardinals, I miss the peonies that are so common in Indiana. The flower is not quite open all the way, and that tension is increased by the left-to-right flow of the image and the implied motion. Well done.
Thank you Jules, Dennis and Kerry. Cloning out the water drops on the leaves is a good idea. I'll try it. There would still be some on the petals. As always, I so much appreciate the constructive critique I receive on this forum! :-)
Anita, this is lovely. The composition and texturing work so well for this. I don't mind the LLC at all, in fact I like it. I might evict some of the white spots(water drops) on the right leaf if it were mine.Chanticleer is a wonderful garden and I really like the natural beauty of the place.
Late to the party, Anita, but I have to say...I am not a big peony lover, but this image might turn me. The leaves in the LLC are a conundrum...my comment would be, as Denise suggested, to evict SOME of the water drops...and maybe to blur the leave that is the sharpest, where it touches the bloom, just a bit more. This is a well composed, well processed image...you have a real gift.
Lovely composition, Anita. Not much I can add to the above comments:S3: Love the color and the bg texture. Nice processing and TFS.
Hi Anita....Lovely composition. I vote for blurring the LLC leaf just a bit more.
Very nice image and application, Anita.
You seem to get comments to do about everything! :w3 Leave them in and take them off and clone them... To each their own.
Mine would be to leave the water drops, but clone the one area of the LLC leaf that appears to be a hole. I think it is part of the flower blossom, but not sure.
But as they say, Y.I.Y.V. and a nice vision it is. :5
Quite lovely Anita, I like it as is, but agree with evicting the water droplets on the leaves in the lower left. Nice one!
