When Maureen and I visited Dudley I retook the washtubs and left plenty of room for the legs. I also included more of the barn and there was wash in the washtub this time. I used Fractalius twice on this one - Sketch #5 and Sketch #1.
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated:S3:

Really nice, Cheryl. I love the way the fract effect seems to bring out the "old Florida" look in your images. I think if it were mine, I might crop just a little from the right hand side to make that partial tree trunk go away.

Very cool...an almost surrealistic effect was created by your filtering, with wonderfully saturated colors and clean, crisp lines for contrast and detail. The dappling of shadow and light adds depth to the image...liking this one a good bit!

Hi Cheryl, lovely use of fractalius for this as well. The dappled light is nice and I like the way fractalius saturated all the wood.

Thanks, Maureen, John and Andrew. I agree with Maureen about cropping out that fraction of a tree. Why do those things escape me before I post? I had cropped from the left but didn't even consider the right:e3

Cheryl, my fave of the group. Maureen's suggestion is exactly what I thought the minute I looked at it. Love the processing and comp.

I really like what you're doing with these Dudley Farm images. The detailing -- probably from your use of Fractalius -- in this one is just superb. It's a great look. I don't know if I'd have caught the tree on the right, but eliminating is probably a good idea. The image is already nicely laid out vertically in terms of divine proportions. Cropping the tree off will also enhance it horizontally, I think.

After seeing these images, I have got to go to a local place called "Upper Canada Village" this summer...I'll try some HDR's
